Headlight range variation:

Size and diameter of light arc is mainly determined by amount of electrical power in the arc. The arc increases with power increasing or decreases with power decreasing as shown in illustration:

The geometrical variation of the arc size caused by increasing power does not only heighten light intensity but will also increase the illuminated area, i.e. the light range will increase also. Without the need of further mechanical device or additional light high beams can be realised. No additional halogen light is required. There is no danger of reducing the burner life by short time over powering it with 45 Watts.
Although blinding effects on other traffic participants could be further reduced - if there were any - by coupling reduced light output to
reduced vehicles speed.
So with our ballast in system hi and low beams can be easily performed by one single HID xenon bulb.
